Global Bridge Camp: Korean Immersion Summer Experience

GB CAMP

(1st - 6th grade)

All Together, One Spot

Families with younger children in GB Sprout will love the convenience of one simple drop-off and pick-up location for all siblings — making mornings and afternoons easy for parents.

A Global Community

We are excited to welcome campers from around the world to immerse themselves in Korean culture this summer. In past years, we’ve hosted students from the U.S., China, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and more—making this a truly global experience.

Excursions & Exploration

Campers will enjoy two full excursion days each week (typically Tuesdays and Thursdays), exploring Korea beyond the classroom. These excursions give students a chance to connect what they’ve learned with real cultural experiences.

Sample Excursions Include:

Samulnori Studio (Learning Korean instrument Jang-gu)

Hands-On Cultural Activities

On regular camp days (typically Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), students take part in engaging, hands-on sessions led by our teachers, guest instructors, and cultural experts. Activities include (subject to change by week and weather):

  • Self-defense training

  • Traditional Korean games such as ttakji (folded paper game) and paengi (spinning top)

  • Korean music and arts, including samulnori (traditional percussion ensemble)

  • Learn a little Korean language to enrich their experience. While campers are introduced to useful words and phrases, Global Bridge Camp is not a language school—the focus remains on cultural immersion and fun.

Daily Themes

Instead of weekly themes, our program runs on daily themes. This ensures that no matter which week a student attends, they will experience the full range of cultural, creative, and educational activities.

Since many campers join for two weeks or more, activities and excursions are carefully designed to avoid repetition. When an experience is repeated, students dive into new or advanced materials, keeping their camp journey exciting and enriching.

Expertly Designed Curriculum

Our curriculum is created by professors, researchers, and international school teachers. It blends culture, creativity, and fun into a meaningful learning experience that students will remember long after summer ends.
